Sets Color Registration Adjustment (individual yellow, magenta, cyan correction) settings. There are times when manual color registration adjustments (Auto Registration Adjustment = off) are required, such as when the printer is initially installed and after the printer is moved.

When the "On" check box is selected, the printer performs color registration adjustment automatically. When the "On" check box is cleared, Auto Registration Adjustment is disabled, and the following "Manual Registration Adjustments" items become enabled.

Clicking "Start" performs color registration automatically.
Clicking "Start" prints a color registration chart.
The color registration chart prints a lattice pattern of yellow, magenta, and cyan lines. On the chart, find the values on the right side that are next to the straightest lines for each of the three colors. If the value for the straightest line is 0, color registration adjustment is not required. If the value for the straightest line is any value other than 0, use the procedures under "Color Registration Adjustment 1 (Lateral)" and "Color Registration Adjustment 2 (Process)" to specify the adjustment value.
Specify lateral (perpendicular to paper feed direction) color adjustment values individually within the range of -5 to +5.
Specify the left half of process (paper feed direction) color adjustment values individually within the range of -5 to +5.
Specify the right half of process (paper feed direction) color adjustment values individually within the range of -5 to +5.
