READ THIS FIRST!
You must uninstall any left over Xk35c drivers from your PC
before installing the new Windows XP drivers.  If you followed
the directions of the Windows XP "Found New Hardware Wizard"
and installed the driver from the original Xk35c CD, you must
also uninstall this driver.

Your Xk35c must be at firmware revision 1.90 before print or scan
drivers are installed.  To validate the firmware revision of your
machine and upgrade it if need be, see the Firmware Instructions.    

Please review all instructions prior to beginning the process.


UNINSTALLING DRIVERS

1) Click on Start, go to All Programs, go to Xerox WORKCENTRE XK
Series, (Look for the Print and Twain (scan) Driver Uninstallers.
go to Print Driver Uninstaller and click on this line.
2)  Click on the "Yes" button.
3) Click on all of the OK buttons.
4) If you have also installed the twain driver DO NOT reboot yet,
click on No, then click on Finish.  If you only had the print
driver installed, reboot by clicking on Finish, then skip down to the
Driver Installation Instructions.  
5) To remove the scan driver, click on Start, go to All Programs,
go to Xerox WorkCentre XK Series, go to Twain Driver Uninstaller
and click on this line.
6) Click on the Yes button.
7) Click OK
8) Click on Finish to reboot the PC now.
Upon restart you may install drivers.


PRINT DRIVER INSTALLATION 

1) Download the printer driver file (XP_XK35P.exe) from the Drivers and Downloads page and save it to your hard drive.
2) It is recommend that you exit all Windows Applications before running Setup program.
3) Attach the appropriate communication cable (parallel or USB) from the printer to the computer.

NOTE:	If you are connecting the Xk35c to the parallel port, make
sure that there are no other parallel port devices installed on
the PC, if so uninstall them following the instructions provided 
by their manufacturer.

4) If present, close the Found New Hardware Wizard clicking on Cancel.
5) Double click on the Driver file XP XK35P.exe
6) Click on OPEN
7) Click on OK
8) Click on Continue Anyway
9) Click on OK
