features. When other Delivery Options are selected, such as Secure Print,
the Normal option is automatically de-selected. Normal is the default setting.

Delay
Print
The Delay Print feature enables
you to print documents at a specific time. When you select Delay Print
as the Job Type, the Time field will appear next to the Job Type field.
Simply enter the time and send the print job like any other job. The electronic
document file will be stored within the Document Centre until the specified
time. It will then be printed as a normal print job.

Time
(Delay Print)
The Time setting is where you
enter the time at which a Delayed Print job will be printed. This feature
operates within a 24 hour timeframe, which means that your document will
print in the next 24 hour cycle if you send the document to the printer
AFTER the scheduled time. For example, if it's currently 9:00am and you
set a Delayed Print job for 9:01am but don't click the OK button in the
print driver until 9:02am, the document will not be printed until 9:01am
the next day. However, in situations where the document arrives at the
printer after the scheduled time due to network or print queue delays(or
different clock settings on the printer or computer), the document will
be printed immediately.
NOTE:
To avoid problems with Delayed Print or Fax jobs, you should check and
synchronize the time settings on your computer and the printer.
Secure
Print
The Secure Print option is designed
for printing confidential documents. This feature automatically holds your
document within the Document Centre internal queue. When you're ready to
retrieve your job, you go to the Document Centre control panel and enter
a password to release the job so it will print while you are there to retrieve
it. You must enter a Password to send a Secure Print job. The Password
number can be any numeric value between 0000-9999. Documents which are
held for an extended period of time will be deleted automatically. The
time limit for held jobs can be modified on each Xerox system. Check with
your System Administrator for specific time limits.

Sample
Set
The Sample Set option enables
you to print and proof a single copy of a document before printing the
remaining document sets/copies. The remaining sets are held in the Document
Centre print queue until you release the job at the Document Centre control
panel. When using this feature, be sure to determine if the Print dialog
in your application provides a Collate option. If it does, you must turn
the Collate option OFF in order for the Sample Set feature to work properly.
If you do not turn off the Collate option within your application, the
application may render the entire job as a single document. Documents which
are held for an extended period of time will be deleted automatically.
The time limit for held jobs can be modified on each Xerox system. Check
with your System Administrator for specific time limits.

Selection Options
2
Sided Printing
1 Sided - 1 Sided printing,
also called Simplex printing, prints on one side of the paper. 2 Sided
printing, also called Duplex printing, prints on both sides of the paper.
The default selection is 1 Sided printing.
NOTE:
You need to configure the 2 Sided Printing (duplex) option on the System
Configuration tab in order to select 2 Sided Printing.
2 Sided - Flip on Long Edge...
This
option prints on both sides of the paper so the finished document will
flip open from right to left (like a book) with pages that are taller than
they are wide.
2 Sided - Flip on Short
Edge... This option prints on both sides of the paper so the finished
document will flip open from bottom to top (like a calendar) with pages
that are taller than they are wide.
Output/Stapling
The Output/Stapling options enable
you to choose how the printed document or document sets are delivered.
The basic options include Collated and Uncollated output. If your Document
Centre provides additional finishing options, such as Stapling, they will
appear within the Output selection box.
Collate... Collated
printing means that two or more copies of a document are printed and delivered
as separate document sets, rather than separate sets of each page.
Collate and Staple... The
Collate and Staple option delivers stapled sets of each copy of your multi-page
documents.
NOTE:
Stapling cannot be used unless the Finisher (optional equipment) is installed
on your Xerox system. If the Finisher is installed, go to the System Configuration
tab of your print driver and select the Finisher check box. Stapling can
then be selected within the Output field of the Paper/Output tab.
Output
Destination
The Output Destination options
enable you to choose where the printed document will be delivered on your
Document Centre System. If your Document Centre provides additional output
options, such as a Finisher or Mailboxes, they will appear within the Output
selection box.
Keep in mind that some of
the smaller paper sizes cannot be sent to the optional Mailbox or Finisher
modules that are available on some Document Centre models. DCPR will constrain
any selections that are invalid for these output options.
NOTE:
You need to configure the Installable Options on the DCPR System Configuration
tab in order to select certain Output Destination features.
Defaults
Click the Defaults button if
you want to reset all the options on the tab to the recommended default
settings.
