Overview |
DocuShare Drive 1.0 Patch 3 is a required patch as it fixes several important issues. Installation of Patch 3 requires administrator privileges on the computer. The patch can be installed on a computer with any of the following releases installed:
- DocuShare Drive 1.0 (build 37)

Issues in the patch |
Intermittent problems checking in Excel documents
Usage of the Windows Explorer preview pane can interfere with the check-in of Excel documents. To avoid any problems, do one of the following:
- Turn off the Windows Explorer preview pane (Alt + P shortcut key).
- Close the Explorer folder window that displays a preview of the checked-out XLS file.
- Save the edited XLS file as an XLSX file.
- Right-click the DocuShare Drive icon on the Windows taskbar and select View preferences. On the Online Files tab, uncheck Defer the check-in until the app window closes. This will force check-in to occur every time an application writes to the file.
|
Additional windows appear when checking in Office documents
To prevent this from occurring, right-click the DocuShare Drive icon on the Windows taskbar and select View preferences. On the Online Files tab, uncheck Defer the check-in until the app window closes. |
