1. Overview

DocuWorks Content Filter is compatible to the Microsoft® Indexing Service interface (Ifilter) in Microsoft® Windows® 2000, Windows® XP, or Windows Vista®.
This filter can be activated when search indexes are being created by the document-search software. It extracts full-text information and document properties which document-search software requires from DocuWorks files.
Installing Content Filter on servers in which document-search software like Microsoft® Indexing Service has already been installed allows DocuWorks files to be targeted for a search.
