Request Banner Sheet

Select this option to print a Banner Sheet with your print jobs. The Banner Sheet often includes the printer name and your network user name. Banner Sheets separate each completed print job in the output bins, making it easier to identify and retrieve your documents when they are among numerous documents that have been submitted by other network users.

This option sends a request to print a Banner Sheet with your job. However, some Document Centres can be configured to turn this feature OFF as the default setting. If you have trouble printing Banner Sheets, ask your System Administrator or Key Operator to confirm that the Banner Sheets option is turned ON at the Document Centre.

Draft Mode

The Conserve Dry Ink feature causes all solid black areas in your document to be printed in shades of gray, thereby reducing the amount of Dry Ink (Toner) that is needed to produce the images and text in your document. This setting is recommended for verifying document content and layout.

Resolution

The resolution setting affects the amount of detail that is reproduced on graphic images. Graphics resolution is measured in dots per inch (dpi). Therefore, a 600 dpi setting renders images using 600 dots (pixels) per every inch of the image. Image quality typically increases with higher resolution (dpi) and bits per pixel settings, but it often results in slower print speed.
NOTE: The 1800 x 1800 dpi setting may NOT be used as the default setting because it results in slower print speed.
Some Xerox products also enable you to choose the number of bits per pixel. This setting defines how many shades of gray, or gray levels, each pixel can support.

Leading Edge

Some printer models enable you to specify the Feed Orientation for the paper that is loaded in each tray. This is typically defined by specifying which edge of the paper is being fed into the printer first. The following options are supported:

- Short Edge (top) / Long Edge (top)

- Short Edge (bottom) / Long Edge (bottom)

If the Leading Edge setting does not match the way the paper is loaded in the tray, you will not be able to print from the tray.

Request Set Offset

Select this option if you want each set of a multiple copy print job to be slightly offset from one another in the output tray. This option makes it easier to sort and handle documents when you are printing several copies of a document.

Image Quality

The Image Quality settings enable you to lighten or darken your documents by adjusting the opacity or density of the document text and images. The maximum setting will print solid (opaque) text and darker images. Lower settings will reduce the amount of dry ink that is used to render the imageable areas within your document, thereby producing lighter text and images.

Transparency Separators

The Transparency Separators feature enables you to specify whether paper separator pages will be inserted between each transparency sheet. Select from the following options:

No Separators - separator pages will not be inserted.

Blank Separators - a blank paper separator page will be inserted between each transparency.

Printed Separators - the system will print a duplicate copy of each transparency on paper. The duplicate paper pages will be inserted between each transparency.

Color - when you select a Blank or Printed transparency separator, you can also specify the color of the paper on which the separator page will be printed. You do not have to change this setting each time you change the Paper/Media Type.

NOTE: The print driver ignores this setting when Transparencies are NOT selected.
